Missing skiers found after search by rescue teams
Two skiers who failed to return from the Cairngorm mountains have been found by mountain rescue teams.
A rescue aircraft and coastguard helicopter was involved in the search which resumed again at 6am on Wednesday.
The search for the pair began on Tuesday before it was stood down.
CMRT pleased to say that the missing persons have been located safe and well by Rescue Aircraft 951 and have been airlifted back to the rescue Base. CMRT extend thanks to all the agencies involved.

Rescue teams resumed their search of the Cairngorm plateau in the Highlands at first light on Wednesday.
Mountain rescue teams from Braemar were also involved in combing the south side of the plateau.
Cairngorm Mountain Rescue team revealed the skiers had been found just after 8am on Wednesday.
They have now been airlifted back to the rescue base.
