Renault launches special-edition Clio Urban Nav
Those in the market for a stylish supermini now have a new choice, as Renault has announced a special version of its popular Clio. Called the Urban Nav, it's based on the well-equipped Dynamique Nav, but gains extra kit and features for a low additional outlay.
Urban Nav debuts a new body colour – Urban Grey – and the monochrome theme is consistent across the car, with grey alloy wheels and gloss black trim.

Inside, black cloth upholstery doesn't make things any brighter, but the Urban Nav is well equipped. It gains rear parking sensors, LED headlights, sat-nav via a seven-inch infotainment screen and keyless entry.
Despite having £1,265 worth of extra equipment thrown in, the Urban Nav asks a £575 premium over the lesser Dynamique Nav – making it somewhat of a bargain.
Buyers choosing the Urban Nav can select one of two engines – either a 0.9-litre three-cylinder petrol, or a 1.5-litre diesel. Both produce 89bhp, and are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox – though a six-speed automatic is an option for the diesel.
Fuel economy is strong, with 60.1mpg claimed for the petrol and up to 85.6mpg for the diesel. Neither is particularly fast, though – 0-60mph takes between 12-13 seconds for both of the engines.
Renault's offering tempting finance packages to get customers to opt for the Clio over its top-selling Ford Fiesta, VW Polo and Vauxhall Corsa rivals. It's offering a year's free insurance on a 37-month PCP contract, priced at £149 per month.
To buy the car outright, you'll need £16,225 for the petrol, or £17,675 for the diesel.
