In video: Big Ben bongs back for festive period
The Great Bell in Elizabeth Tower - better known as Big Ben - has rung out to celebrate the festive period.
Big Ben has not tolled since vital repairs began in August, although it chimed at the stroke of 11am on November 11 to mark the start of a two-minute silence as part of Armistice events.
