Incredible video shows 1972 Land Rover pulling lorry up snowy slope
If there is one thing that Land Rover is known for, it's making cars that are ridiculously capable at venturing off the beaten track.
Although the plush cars it builds today may be a long way from the decidedly humble 4x4s of yesteryear, a recent video has proved that these classic off-roaders are still have what it takes to handle themselves when the going gets tough.
The clip, posted to Twitter by the Land Rover PR team, shows a 1972 Series III towing a massive articulated lorry up a snowy slope.
Although the 45-year old Landie does appear to struggle for grip at a few points, it still manages to free the stranded truck.
When you consider the fact that many modern SUVs would be out of their depth if faced with such a challenge, the video only becomes more impressive.
