Chinese commuter arrested for painting his own road markings

A man in China, fed-up of his lengthy commute, decided to take matters into his own hands.

Captured on CCTV, the man, whose surname was Cai, thought the ideal way to speed up his morning commute was to meddle with traffic signs – and painted his own arrows onto the road in a bid to clear congestion at a road junction.
