Woman burned by hot tea spilled by flight attendant



A passenger was severely burned on a flight from New York to Atlanta.

Janine Linton says she suffered second-degree burns when a flight attendant spilled a cup of hot tea on her lap.

Now her lawyer says Frontier Airlines is being unresponsive after the incident.

Speaking to PIX11 News, here lawyer Janai Jackson said: "The flight attendant may have lost her balance or got distracted and the tea spilled on Janine."

Linton said: "The skin from my leg is starting to remove and the colour is starting to change."

She was helped by a doctor on-board until the flight landed and taken to a hospital in Atlanta by an ambulance from the airport.
