This man hopes his homemade rocket will prove the Earth is flat

Self-taught rocket builder Mike Hughes plans to fly in his homemade rocket above the Mojave Desert in Southern California on 25 Nov.

Hughes will fly the rocket 1,800ft over the desert, and claims it will go 500 miles an hour. He eventually wants to fly it high enough to get photographic evidence that the world, in his opinion, is flat... Find out more above.
