World's first titanium supercar unveiled

Little-known carmaker Icona has revealed its high-tech Vulcano Titanium supercar at the Dubai Motor Show. It's an incredibly high-tech vehicle, built primarily out of – you guessed it – titanium, a first for a passenger car.

The Titanium uses a 6.2-litre V8 engine which also features in the Chevrolet Corvette. Icona says that it can be tuned to produce over 1,000bhp, which would allow the car to hit 60mph in under three seconds.
