How this baby was actually born twice

A precious little girl is a medical miracle because she was actually born twice. Surgeons removed her from her mother's womb at 23 weeks after a sonogram revealed the unborn child had a massive, growing tumour at the base of her spine.

Doctors gave mum, Margaret Boemer, a grim diagnosis. Surgeons had to operate immediately, and a team at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston carried out the five-hour operation before placing the child back in the womb. She was born again three months later. See more in the video above.
