Two more teenagers charged with murder over fatal stabbing

Two more teenagers have been charged with murder after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in a park.

Michael Jonas was fatally attacked in Betts Park, Penge, south-east London.

Detectives have charged a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy with murder, Scotland Yard said.

The pair will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Two other teenagers - a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy - have already appeared in court charged with murder.

The Metropolitan Police said it was called to Betts Park at around 7.20pm on November 2 to reports a male had been attacked

Officers found Michael with multiple stab wounds at the scene and administered first aid before the arrival of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance.

Despite efforts to revive him, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene just under an hour later.

A post-mortem examination at the Princess Royal University Hospital confirmed the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest and haemorrhage.
