SeaWorld's net profit plummeted 16% from last summer to this summer: $65.7 million to $55 million.

While hurricanes in Florida and Texas didn't help, parks like the one in San Diego are getting hit the hardest.

There has been years of negative public backlash since the release of the documentary film 'Blackfish' in 2013.

The company has been trying to shake their bad reputation since then, but it doesn't seem to be working.

SeaWorld remains optimistic and plans to bring in tourists with new attractions like the electric eel, a new rollercoaster at the San Diego park.
