Kate Winslet kisses Allison Janney at Hollywood Film Awards

Kate Winslet and Allison Janney shared a surprise kiss onstage at the Hollywood Film Awards on Sunday night.

The British star was accepting an award for her performance in Wonder Wheel, when she praised her contemporaries in the audience at the Beverly Hilton.

Winslet said: "Allison, I know I don't really know you, but I just want to be you. I do, or just stroke you or something. I mean, we could always kiss, maybe?"

Janney then walked on stage to give Winslet a kiss, with the latter saying: "Oh, it's going to happen! This is an exciting moment, isn't it?"
