Terrifying moment skydiver's parachute ropes twist at 3,000ft

Footage has emerged from England of a skydiving jump that nearly went tragically wrong when a man's line twisted at 3,000-feet.

Luke Spencer was free-falling at a speed of around 160mph when his chute opened at 3,000 feet.

"The opening was bad and put me into a deep dive and spin towards the ground.

"This gave me seconds to correct the fault and avoid collision with my fellow jumpers," he explains.

Fortunately, Spencer kept his cool and was able to untangle his line and land safely.
