Linda Hamilton to return to Terminator franchise

Linda Hamilton to returning to the Terminator film franchise after a 26 year absence.

The American actress, 60, will reprise her role as Sarah Connor in the as-yet-untitled reboot.

She last played the character in the 1991 sequel Terminator: Judgement Day.

Director James Cameron is producing the new film, while the cyborg himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is also returning.

The upcoming movie will be directed by Tim Miller and is due for release in 2019.
