Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx confirm romance

Actors Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have finally confirmed their romance following years of rumours.

The Oscar winner, 49, and mother-of-one, 38, were pictured walking hand-in-hand on Malibu beach in California over the weekend.

The photos are the first proper sighting of the couple, who have been at the centre of dating reports since 2013.

There has been much speculation why the pair have gone to such lengths to hide their relationship, which they have denied many times in the media.

One reason cited has been Foxx worked with Holmes' ex-husband Tom Cruise in the 2004 movie Collateral and the men were thought to be friendly.

Holmes has a 11-year-old daughter Suri from her six year marriage to Cruise, while Foxx has two children, Corinne Bishop, 23, and Annalise, eight, from previous relationships.
