Horror as two die in crash at air show near Moscow



Two people were killed when a light aircraft crashed during an air show near Moscow on Saturday.

A video from the scene in Balashikha shows the plane, reportedly an Antonov An-2, performing a demonstration flight in front of spectators before crashing to the ground and bursting into flames.

The victims were named as pilot Dmitry Sukharev and an amateur photo journalist, Boris Tylevich, reports Russian news agency TASS.

According to RT.com, an investigation to determine the cause of the crash is underway.

Ten emergency vehicles and 36 rescue service workers were sent to the scene.

No people on the ground were injured in the crash.
