Moped riders risk lives by going through closing level crossing

A video showing two young moped riders recklessly going across a rail crossing while the gates were closing has been released by National Rail as a stark warning.

The CCTV footage from the Navigation Road crossing in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, shows the barrier coming down and clipping the passenger on the moped, with the rider then losing control of the vehicle, on what appears to be a wet road.
