The places where your selfie stick isn't welcome

Even though it's one pretty picture, you'd better leave your selfie stick at home when traveling to these places across the US and around the world!

I bring this up because authorities in Milan, Italy recently banned the use of selfie sticks for the summer, and might keep it going much longer, according to Travel + Leisure.

So where can't you snap a pic? Most museums are on the list, according to Mashable.

We're talking about the Met, the MoMa, the Guggenheim, and the American Museum of Natural History.

And that's just in the Big Apple! Across the country, selfie sticks are also banned at Washington D.C.'s Smithsonian museums, and at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Can you bring them to Yankee Stadium? Nope!

You also can't take the pic sticks to the Coachella or Lollapalooza music festivals.

Same with the Kentucky Derby; banned!

You don't want to upset Mickey Mouse, do you? Disney announced a ban at their parks around the world in 2015!

Most companies cite safety concerns or list them as nuisances.

If your next trip includes a stop at one of these places I just mentioned, I hope you have really long arms to get the right shot or you can always go old school and ask someone to take your picture.
