New roundabout comes under fire after spate of crashes

A new roundabout has been slammed as probably the worst in the UK after reportedly notching up 10 crashes within 48 hours of opening.

The roundabout – which is on a stretch of the A516 dual carriageway in Mickleover, Derbyshire - has poor lighting and a lack of adequate signs, which are being blamed for the crashes.
