Woman attacked by boa constrictor she rescued

An Ohio woman called the emergency services when a boa constrictor wrapped itself around her neck and was biting her face.

The recording of the 911 call reveals that the woman rescued the snake just the day before the incident.

The woman also tells the phone operator that the animal is five and a half feet in length.

Luckily rescuers arrived within minutes and a firefighter cut off the snake's head with a pocket knife.

The 45-year-old was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
