Katrina Bookman hit the jackpot and was supposed to receive $43 million (£33.65 million), but when she asked for her prize the staff said it was a glitch.

Katrina Bookman is now suing Resorts World Casino for the entire jackpot.

"You can't claim a machine is broken because you want it to be broken," she said.

"Does that mean it wasn't inspected? Does it mean it wasn't maintained?"

The suit also takes aim at Genting New York LL the casino's parent company for alleged common-law negligence, breach of contract and negligent representation.

Katrina even took a selfie with the screen showing the full amount of her winnings.

She was allegedly escorted from the premises and contacted the next day with the offer of $3.25 (£1.76) and a steak dinner. She declined both.
