Pilot proposes to his girlfriend during 'engine failure'

This pilot decided to scare the life out of his girlfriend - before making a marriage proposal to her.

Anthony and his girlfriend, Katherine, had been dating for about two years when he decided it was finally time to pop the question.

The amateur pilot invited his beloved to accompany him on a flight and proposed during a mock "engine failure".

After pretending to have lost control of his aircraft's engines, Katherine ran through a phony checklist of what to do and prompted to Anthony to start an "engagement sequence".

Luckily, they landed safely... and Katherine will have a lifetime to get back at Anthony for his joke.
