Snoozing police officers caught catching forty winks on the job

Two police officers, who were caught asleep in an unmarked police car while apparently on duty, will face disciplinary action after a passer-by snapped the slumbering pair on camera.

According to the female eyewitness, who wished not to be named, the male and female constables were apparently asleep in their unmarked black Vauxhall Corsa, which was parked at the side of the road near Cambridge city centre at 7.20am on Wednesday morning.
