Man flies off mountain and does somersaults in the air

A breathtaking clip has emerged from Chamonix, France, of a daredevil flying off a cliff at incredible speed.

In the video, Joseph Innes flies off the snowy cliff edge and performs several dizzying turns, at times appearing to skim jagged rocks.

Innes then swoops down towards the ground and flies at incredible speed for several minutes.

The spectacular flight comes to an end when Innes lands safely in a field.
