A terrifying video has emerged from Cornwall of a small plane battling gale-force winds upon landing at Land's End airport.

The plane appears to wobble from side to side and makes a few bumps on the tarmac before safely coming to a stop.

It's not the only transport that has faced difficult weather conditions in Cornwall over the last few days.

A yachtsman was filmed also battling gale-force winds at the harbour in Newlyn.

The sailors did everything they could to prevent the boat from hitting the sea wall.

Both incidents occurred on Friday as unsettled weather hit the south coast.

There was travel disruption as some ferries were cancelled and trees felled.

The weather forecast for the next few days appears to be warm(ish) in the low to mid-teens and pleasant.
