Celebrities stun on Met Gala red carpet

Monday saw the return of one of the biggest nights in the showbiz calendar - the Met Gala.

Hosted by US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, celebrities pull out all the stops at the annual fundraising gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City.

Some of the world's biggest stars, including Madonna, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner attempted to dress in this year's theme - Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between.
