A French farmer has been issued with a speeding ticket after apparently traveling at 93ph in a 75mph zone, in a tractor.

This would make it the fastest tractor in the world, beating the current world record of 88mph set by a Valtra T234.

Rémi Gervais, a winegrower from Montagnac, has denied the charge and claims his tractor cannot do more than 30kph.
