Airbnb host refers to race while cancelling booking

An American law student says she had her Airbnb reservation canceled because of her race.

23-year-old Dyne Suh was ready for a fun weekend in Big Bear, California, with her two friends.

But the Airbnb host suddenly cancelled the reservation, saying: "I wouldn't rent it to you if you were the last person on earth."

Then the host apparently wrote: "One word says it all: Asian."

Suh was horrified, and told the host that she was going to report her to Airbnb to which the woman responded 'go ahead', adding: "It's why we have Trump."

Airbnb has permanently removed the host and condemned her behaviour.

Suh and her friends were only three minutes away from the Airbnb when the host cancelled.
