The best takeaway restaurant in Britain has been revealed - and it's a Thai in the centre of London.
Thai Metro in Fitzrovia nabbed the top spot for its consistently delicious dishes, starting at £4.85.

It saw off fierce competition of more than 12,000 other restaurants across the UK to win at the Most Loved Takeaway awards hosted by HungryHouse.
The top 10 restaurants were ranked on factors including restaurant popularity, customer reviews, star ratings, return sales and hygiene standards.
Thai Metro was launched 17 years ago by owner Ekkachai Somboonsarn, who trained by cooking at music festivals including Glastonbury and Reading,
According to the Daily Mail, he said: "We are a family-owned business, so to receive both this recognition and exposure is an unbelievable honour.
"We pride ourselves on serving up delicious Thai cuisine at good value, all made with high quality ingredients."
Mr Somboonsarn, who lives in central London, said the most popular dish is the pineapple fried rice, which comes served in a pineapple half with egg, meat and mixed vegetables and is priced between £7.25 and £7.85.
Speaking to the Standard, he said that his personal favourite dish "is the drunken fried rice, which is made with egg, fresh chilli and basil. It's a great hangover cure. It certainly goes well with alcohol."
Referring to the accolade, he added: "It's the food that I've grown up with and it's lovely to be acknowledged. It means a lot that people are giving us great feedback and to know that we are doing something right."
The second most popular takeaway hotspot was Benz Burgers, also in London, and in third place was Home Wok in Glasgow.
