Raccoon with head stuck in jar is rescued
A raccoon in New Jersey, USA, had a day it will likely never forget, no matter how badly it would probably prefer to.
Earlier this week personnel from Atlantic City Electric were alerted to an animal potentially in distress.

When they arrived they found the poor raccoon stranded at the top of a utility pole.
This morning, crews safely retrieved a furry friend from one of our utility poles and returned it (sans jar) to the wild. 🐾 pic.twitter.com/IS8WVfaN40

As if that wasn't enough for the poor animal, it also had its head stuck in a jar.
Luckily workers were able to solve both problems and return the raccoon to the wild.
