Young Euromillions winner Jane Park has said that winning £1 million was a disaster for her - and now, presumably, she's even more upset.

The 21-year-old picked Leicester, Walsall, Blackpool, Plymouth and FC United of Manchester to win late last week - and won £1,222 with her £20 accumulator bet.

"Happy Saturday!" she posted on Facebook.

Lottery winner considers suing for being allowed to win

This latest win follows a period of ups and downs for Jane. After her Euromillions win, she bought a house in Prestonpans, near Edinburgh for £169,995. However, four years on, she's now sold it for £189,000 and plans, according to the Mail, to move back in with her mother - as she's been feeling lonely.

The three-bedroom house was described in the listing as an 'exceptional three bed semi detached villa with enclosed south-facing rear garden'. It was, the agents added, "finished off to a high specification throughout and is enhanced by contemporary interior and quality fittings".

Jane had furnished the house with dramatic red-and-silver living room furniture - but got rid of it on Facebook last December when the house sold.

And buying the house hasn't been the only decision that she's regretted. Indeed, she recently said that winning the lottery had ruined her life - and even threatened to sue Camelot. Just 17 at the time of her win, she splashed out on luxuries from an £18,000 purple Range Rover to breast implants.

She's also due to face drink driving charges at Edinburgh Sheriff Court this week.

Cancer patient wins lottery twice in three months

This could be the UK's luckiest lottery family

Some people do just seem to be born lucky, and Jane is by no means the only person to have a winning streak - indeed, some people have had far more extraordinary repeat wins.

Last summer, for example, North Carolina cancer patient Gina Short won the top $250,000 prize in the state's All or Nothing lottery draw - just a few months after winning $1 million in a different game.

In the UK, David and Kathleen Long won £1 million in 2013 - and then, two years later won the same amount, this time with a dream car thrown in.

But the luckiest lottery family we know of are the Frys. Last summer, Peter and Mary, along with their three daughters, took home a £1 million win on the National Lottery.

Their win came less than a year after daughter Margaret scooped £20,000 as a lottery raffle prize, and six years after Peter's cousin Annette Brown won £1.15 million on the lottery.
