Members of the public have taken to social media to express their unhappiness with the image.
Comments include: 'completely irresponsible' and 'repulsive'.
One wildlife expert says: "These are incredibly rare animals. You should not be riding on its back. You could injure it, you could stress it out."
The image was posted by a man known as the 'King of Instagram', professional poker player, Dan Bilzerian.
He's since hit back at critics of the image, saying: "Get off your soapbox, the people working there said it's fine to sit on them."
