Carnival Cruises uses new technology to make passenger life easier

Carnival Cruise Line has announced new technology that will change the way passengers experience a cruise holiday.

A quarter-sized disc made of burnished aluminum will be provided to passengers before they get on the ship.

The medallion has many useful purposes one of them being to make payments of their merchandise as well as locking and unlocking their room.

The CEO of Carnival Cruise Line told TheStreet in an interview, "We think this is a breakthrough."
