In the final episode of The Grand Tour's first season, Richard Hammond raced a Porsche 918 Spyder against a Bugatti Veyron – and won.
However, he didn't have it all his own way. After the race, he faced up against a Nissan Patrol SUV. Normally, the big 4x4 would be left in the hypercar's dust, but this was far from a normal Nissan.
Under the skin, it's essentially a GT-R, with the engine and drivetrain taken from Nissan's supercar. However, this hasn't been left unmodified either, with tuners turning the power up to an incredible 1,900bhp.
The standard off-roading tyres have been replaced with sticky drag racing slicks, helping the 4x4 launch at incredible speed and disappear into the distance. The Porsche never stood a chance...
