Premium Bonds: February's winners announced

January is over and we can finally put the first month blues behind us and look ahead into 2017!

The NS&I are here to help you out in the second month of the year, announcing their latest winners in the Premium Bonds.

As always there were two new millionaires announced this month.

The first millionaire was a man from Liverpool who won on the tenth anniversary of when he bought his winning £5,000 bond (No. 123KY115050). He has a total Premium Bonds investment of £30,000.

A woman from Outer London was the second Premium Bond millionaire for February. She purchased her winning bond in May 2008 (No. 138XC676243) and has a total Premium Bonds holding of £18,480.

Prize and value breakdown in February 2017

There was a total £69,516,050 paid out this month, spread over 2,224,513 winning Bonds.

While this February prize draw brings London's total wins to 46, this is only the second time a millionaire has been found in Liverpool.

Your odds of winning from each £1 bond number is 30,000 to one while the annual prize fund interest rate is 1.25% and all prizes are tax-free.
