Host of car and motorcycle exhibitors at this weekend's Adventure Travel Show
A host of car and motorcycle exhibitors will be at this weekend's Adventure Travel Show, inviting attendees to get off the beaten track and explore.
The show is taking place at London's Olympia exhibition centre and will feature seminars, adventure film screenings and talks from big names in adventure travel.
By far the biggest motoring presence at the show will be that of Honda Motorcycles, which earlier this month was announced as its feature sponsor.
Honda will present the Adventure by Motorcycling seminars, which will feature acclaimed long-distance motorcyclists Austin Vince and Lois Pryce, alongside showcasing its Adventure Centre and Off-Road Experience.
Nick Campolucci, head of motorcycles at Honda Motor Europe, commented: "From the iconic Africa Twin, through its new rider-friendly CB500X adventure bike to the road-legal CRF250L, Honda has a wide range of motorcycles that can be used for all manner of expeditions.
"Whether it's an impromptu weekend camping trip to a full-blown cross-continental trek, we want people to remember the excitement that you feel every time you swing your leg over your bike. What better place to do that than at the Adventure Travel Show with inspiring characters such as Austin and Lois?"
An Incredible Journeys Theatre will hold talks by writer and two-wheeled traveller Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent, alongside Moto Aventures, a company that offers guided motorcycle tours through Africa.
Meanwhile, exibitors including Karakorum Jeep Treks International, Peru Safari and Home Camper aim to entice attendees with overland tours across the world.
