Russian metal workers have made a commemorative coin bearing the image of Donald Trump.

The silver coin bearing the face of the US president-elect is to mark his upcoming inauguration.

One side of the coin depicts Trump and the other side bears the image of the Statue of Liberty.

The coin also bears the inscription: "In Trump we trust!"

The inscription describes the sentiments of the company which produced the coin.

Vladimir Vasyukhin is the director of 'Art-Grani' and told APTN: "There are more hopes associated with Trump with regards to the lifting of sanctions; maybe the environment (between US and Russia) will change."

They want to present the first coin to Trump himself, but are unsure about how to do this.

They are asking for help from Russian diplomats and partners in the USA.

The company is currently planning to issue 45 of the coins, five of which will be minted in gold.
