The palace was built in the 1600s and has long been rumoured to house ghosts.

The ghosts reportedly include a 'gray man' and a 'white lady'.

Queen Silvia reportedly addresses the ghosts in an upcoming documentary.

She says: "They're all very friendly but you sometimes feel that you're not completely alone.

"It's really exciting, but you don't get scared."

Queen Silvia isn't the only Swedish royal to report paranormal activity at the palace.

In the same documentary, the king's sister, Princess Christina, reportedly says: "There is much energy in this house, it would be strange if it didn't take the form of guises."
