A photographer saved a man's life by pulling him from the wreckage of his burning car.
The incident took place on a California freeway on New Year's Day and was captured by a number of videographers reporting on an SUV that had stalled on the road.
Photojournalist Austin Raishbrook was driving down Interstate 110 in Los Angeles when he came across a car that was stationary in the outside lane with no lights on. He pulled over and began to film the incident when a car ploughed into the back of the stopped car.
The SUV immediately burst into flames, so Raishbrook dropped his camera and ran to see if anyone was inside. With the help of another videographer he pulled the driver free and looked after him until police arrived.
The driver suffered lacerations to his face and a broken rib and was taken to a nearby hospital.
