One in four has 'side business' outside their day job

One in four workers is involved in a "side business" to earn more cash, according to research.

A study by communications giant O2 found that many were "testing the waters" for a possible change of career.

The survey of 1,000 employees found the most popular extra jobs were in technology, arts and crafts, blogging and fitness.

Those involved in a side business were typically spending more than nine hours a week outside their day job.
