Strictly's Ore Oduba is still on a high from Blackpool
Ore Oduba has compared taking part in Strictly Come Dancing's Blackpool episode to stepping out in front of a crowd at the Roman Colosseum.
The BBC sports presenter and his dance partner Joanne Clifton performed the Viennese Waltz to Frank Sinatra's That's Life when the show visited the Tower Ballroom last weekend and it seems they are still on a high from the buzzing atmosphere.
He appeared on spin-off show Strictly - It Takes Two tonight, where he said to host Zoe Ball: "It was sensational. I wasn't really sure what to expect because the pros had talked about it all series long.
"But you go into the place and the history of it ... The roar of the crowd ahead of the group dance, it was like going into the Roman Colosseum."
The pair came second on the leaderboard with 38 points, just two behind Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse who got the first perfect score of the series.
Fans of the BBC show have become used to hearing what Ore's mum has to say about his routines each week but he had a shocking revelation to make tonight.
He guiltily admitted: "Can I be honest? I haven't spoken to my mum all week."
This Saturday, Ore and Joanne will dance the Paso Doble to Everybody Wants To Rule The World - let's just hope his mum has forgiven him by then.
