What happens when a huge polar bear meets a rather small dog?

The polar bear sits next to the dog looking at him before gently stroking the animal's head with its enormous paw.

The dog, who seems perfectly happy with the situation, sits calmly for a little while before getting to its feet, at which point the polar bear backs away.
