Jon Voight weighs in on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce
Jon Voight has said he is hoping everything will work out for his daughter Angelina Jolie in her divorce from Brad Pitt.
At the world premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them he addressed, his Ange and Brad's custody battle, telling E! News: "I appreciate everybody's concern and their prayers. Hopefully things will work out."
Brad recently attended his first red carpet since Ange filed for divorce in September, promoting his new film Allied by signing autographs and posing with his co-star, Marion Cotillard.
He also did a fan Q&A and gushed about how much his fans mean to him, saying: "It's really sweet, everyone has been really kind out here. It's really nice to have all the support."
An investigation into whether Brad was abusive towards his son on a private flight in September has been closed with no finding of wrongdoing by the actor.
Custody of the actors' six children has been the primary issue in their divorce, and Angelina's reps have said that an agreement has been reached.
The couple were married for two years and together for 12 years after becoming close while filming Mr & Mrs Smith.
