'I maintained my dignity': Danny Mac refused to completely unbutton his shirt on Strictly
Sorry, Danny Mac fans, but he won't be revealing his impressive physique while he's still on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Hollyoaks hunk, 28, has so far been seen dancing during the programme with some of his chest - but not all - on show.
And he's now explained that he had to stand up to BBC bosses about it, especially over his steamy rumba routine a few weeks ago with his professional partner Oti Mabuse.
He told the Daily Mirror: "I'm weary of just stripping my kit off - I'm there to dance. With the rumba they said it had to be quite sexy, so would I mind undoing a few buttons?
"They wanted my shirt to go completely open, but I said, 'no, can we just keep a button done up'.
"And I think it worked better, because I maintained that dignity, and also you're dancing which isn't the most comfortable feeling anyway, so the last thing you want to do is have your shirt wide open."
He added: "I don't think having my top off's going to help me get through, it's about the dancing."
Danny and Oti will be attempting the most popular dance style on the BBC series this weekend, as they'll be doing the Argentine Tango to I Heard it Through the Grapevine by Marvin Gaye.
