Caterham launches Signature range with Harrods collaboration
British sports car manufacturer Caterham has launched a new personalisation programme called Caterham Signature.
To mark the introduction of the service, Caterham teamed up with Harrods to create a special edition to 'demonstrate the breadth of options new Caterham buyers can add to their vehicles'.
Personalisation options include paint colours, exterior designs, different dashboards and interior styling, embroidery and even the colour of the chassis.
The special edition has been on display in the company's flagship London store since Friday and will continue throughout October for 'Harrods Man Month'. The Harrods Seven is built on a 420S and painted in the store's iconic green colour.
A white stripe with a gold pinstripe has been added to the bodywork, while the chassis has been powder-coated gold.
Inside the cockpit, the leather upholstery has a butterscotch colour to further match the Harrods colour scheme. The store name is embroidered on the seats, and the 'H' logo adorns the gear knob.
Caterham's chief commercial officer, David Ridley, said: "The Caterham Seven has always been one of the easiest cars on the road to personalise, because every car is hand-built and bespoke for each customer.
"But now we've formalised the personalisation options available to our customers into the Caterham Signature programme, which will outline the almost infinite combinations of options you can select. You can even have your name stitched into the seat."
The Harrods Seven is only available to buy in the Knightsbridge store and costs £59,999.
