That's so fetch!
Mean Girls is getting its very own musical...I know, right?
Cult high school comedy Mean Girls still has hordes of fans 12 years after it was released, and now they can get their Plastics fix in musical form - although they'll have to wait a year and head to Washington DC to see it.
An account called Mean Girls DC has been set up on Twitter, and quoting a line from the film, it of course chose October 3 to make an announcement about the new stage show.
The only other tweet the account has made is a list of some of the film's most famous phrases, leaving us hopeful that the songs will be littered with references to the burn book, cafeteria etiquette and high school cliques.
The 2004 film, written by Tina Fey, starred Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried.
