Kim Kardashian back in the US after being robbed in Paris
Kim Kardashian is back in New York and being supported by friends and family as she recovers from her ordeal in Paris.
The reality star flew into nearby Teterboro Airport in New Jersey in a private jet, hours after she was robbed at gunpoint of £8 million worth of jewellery.
The star then went to an apartment in Manhattan, where family friends such as LaLa Anthony, wife of basketball player Carmelo Anthony, and Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck have visited her.
Kim's mum Kris Jenner was spotted leaving the apartment and indicated that her daughter was doing OK.
A reporter asked how Kim was faring after the incident, and Kris gave the thumbs up signal.
A police official in Paris said five assailants, who are still at large, stole a jewellery box containing valuables worth EUR6 million as well as a ring worth EUR4 million in the raid at an exclusive private apartment building in the French capital.
Kim, who was attending Paris Fashion Week, was "badly shaken but physically unharmed" after masked men dressed as police officers robbed her, her spokeswoman said.
Only two of the five suspects forced their way into the apartment, in the eighth district of Paris behind the Madeleine church, according to the city's prosecutors' office.
Two police officials told the Associated Press that robbers tied up the star and locked her in the bathroom before escaping on bikes.
Kim's husband, the rapper Kanye West, was performing at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York when he was told the news on stage.
He abruptly stopped his set, in the middle of his song Heartless, and told the crowd: "I'm sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show."
