This is the moment a man makes his getaway on a mobility scooter, after raiding a chemist in Heathway, Dagenham, on 25 May.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the theft.

The footage shows a man running quickly away from a building carrying a stolen cash till in his arms, the Standard reports.

He then jumps onto a mobility scooter, which is hidden behind a car, and races down the street.

Another two men had forced their way into the chemist using metal bars.

Information on the Met Police site says: "A cash till was taken out of the store and given to a man on a mobility scooter who was then able to travel quickly away from the store."

"Four suspects were captured on the CCTV."

The BBC reports that the man in the CCTV footage is thought to be part of a gang of four men who targeted two pharmacies in the area.

There was another raid at the nearby Paks Cosmetic Centre in Heathway in August.
