Woman left red-faced after calling police department in USA instead of UK

A conversation between a woman in England and a policeman in America following a car accident has been shared online.

The unlikely exchange took place following an accident between Muddiford and Ilfracombe in Devon. A woman tried calling nearby Barnstaple police department for help, but her call was somehow put through to an operator for The Barnstaple Police Department in Massachusetts.
