Sofia Vergara is the highest paid actress on TV

Sofia Vergara has been named as the highest-paid actress on television. The Modern Family star isn't leading by any small amount either, she's a whopping $20 million ahead of the next person on the list.

The 44-year-old banked a staggering $43 million between 2015 and 2016.

It's the fifth year in a row that she's taken the Forbe's highest paid actress crown.

Second place went to Kaley Cuoco who made $24.5 million.

Most of Sofia's earnings come from endorsements and licensing deals.

New to the Forbes list is 'Quantico' star Priyanka Chopra.

Combined, the top 15 ladies earned $208.5 million.
